Directions

From Corolla, Duck & Southern Shores:

• Take NC 12 South to US 158 East (the four lane hwy.)
• Once you get through Nags Head around Mile Post 16 (stay in the right two lanes) 158 turns into 64 West towards Manteo / Wanchese.
• In a mile or two you will cross the Washington Baum Bridge.
• Take an immediate left at the stop light.
• Pirates Cove Marina will be on your right but you turn left.
• We are under the bridge at the Washington Baum Public Boat Ramps.
• The road puts you into a large parking lot.
• It is a large parking lot with free parking and bathroom facilities.
• The boat will be sitting at the end of the three boat ramps at the end of the parking lot under the bridge.

From Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills & Nags Head:

• Take 158 East (the four lane hwy.) towards Nags Head.
• Once you get through Nags Head around Mile Post 16 (stay in the right two lanes) 158 turns into 64 West towards Manteo / Wanchese.
• In a mile or two you will cross the Washington Baum Bridge.
• Take an immediate left at the stop light.

• We are under the bridge at the Washington Baum Public Boat Ramps.
• The road puts you into a large parking lot.
• The boat will be sitting at the end of the three boat ramps at the end of the parking lot under the bridge.

From Rodanthe, Salvo, Avon and the rest of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Areas:

• Take NC 12 North across the Oregon Inlet Bridge. Continue on 12 North for approx. 8 more miles to a stop light. Take a left onto 64 West towards Manteo / Wanchese.
• In a mile or two you will cross the Washington Baum Bridge.
• Take an immediate LEFT at the stop light.
• Pirates Cove Marina will be on your right but you turn left.
• We are under the bridge at the Washington
• Baum Public Boat Ramps. The road puts you into a large parking lot.
• The boat will be sitting at the end of the three boat ramps at the end of the parking lot under the bridge.

From South Nags Head (Virginia Dare Trail) The Beach Road:

• Take NC 12 North Pass the Comfort Inn and turn left.
• This is Whalebone Junction.
• Continue through two sets of lights.
• At the second set of lights you will turn left onto 64 West towards Manteo / Wanchese.
• In a mile or two you will cross the Washington Baum Bridge.
• Take an immediate LEFT at the stop light.
• Pirates Cove Marina will be on your right but you turn left.
• We are under the bridge at the Washington Baum Public Boat Ramps.
• The road puts you into a large parking lot.
• The boat will be sitting at the end of the three boat ramps at the end of the parking lot under the bridge.
